If working in Gibraltar, it is better to go by car as the La Linea / San Roque train station is not conveniently placed for the border crossing. It is possible to switch from train to bus in Algeciras as an alternative if you wish, for example, to go to Gibraltar airport. You are also spoilt for choice for amenities, there’s a zoo/animal reserve, an exotic birds aviary, several cafes and restaurants and it is also near a petrol station. The main town of Jimena de la Frontera is 3 km away. Also a great location for bird watching and exploring the Andalusian foothills – situated at the edge of Los Alcornocales Natural Park witha host of walking routes. Jimena dela Frontera also has a rich history from Roaman and Arabic times and a castle that has been restored to reveal a wonderful history of conquest and archaeological techniques.

As with all of our rentals, we require character and solvency references and the equivalent of 2 month’s deposit which is returnable at the end of the tenancy. The landlord pays community of owners’ charges and the local town hall taxes. You will be responsible for utilities. Please note, the landlord does not permit animals.
