Beautiful Garden
The garden was beautifully maintained with fruit trees and flowers. It is now a little overgrown as the owner has returned to the UK and hasn’t been across much. But a few hours work would soon remedy that. It is so difficult finding a place with a garden these days.
Pool Could be Added
Two choices, remove some of the garden and put in a pool either a sunken one or above ground. If above ground this could be a portable one that you set up in Spring and Summer. The second choice is to add a hot tub instead. This could be installed on the raised terrace by the main house.
Pedestrianised Access
Access is via a pedestrianised road and private driveway without the worry of noisy traffic. However this does mean that you must park about 100 metres from the house.
Location: San Pablo de Buceite
This is one of the traditional white villages that Andalusia is famous for. Although this particular village was no more than a hamlet a 100 years ago and now has a population of maybe 1,500 inhabitants – including some of the outlying neighbourhoods. This whole area was originally owned by the famous gin making family the Larios in part and was in part common land for the grazing and rearing of cattle. Many families stem from either Gaucin or Jimena. The village has supermarkets a medical centre, sports centre with swimming pool and very popular yoga classes which people of all ages attend.
Bird Migration
This area is hugely popular with bird watchers as it forms part of the migratory route to and from Africa. This is a great opportunity to live in a small and friendly village and have a separate property to bring in a little extra cash.
