The main thorough fare where people stroll in the evenings runs through the heart of the village and is pedestrianised. It may appear at first blush to be a sleepy village, but San Pablo de Buceite is known for its Carnaval. Despite being small it’s a village that punches way above its weight. The people who live here are largely proactive and environmentally aware. For example, they have created beautiful decorations and an amazing Christmas Tree from old plastic which they have recycled to stunning effect.
